To my valued clients:

When you book your appointment please understand that the time is reserved exclusively for you.  Since I can only see a maximum of 4 clients every Tuesday, availability is limited.  Many times, I’ve have to turn away current and potential clients because the slots they request are already filled.  Some time slots are more requested than others.  I highly recommend scheduling several appointments in advance to reserve your preferred time on a Tuesday.

People often book with me because they are in pain, so I try my best to fill appointment slots immediately as they open up.  Obviously, when somebody cancels a few hours before or doesn’t show up for their appointment, it is nearly impossible for me to fill the slot.  Please consider it could be you that I have to turn away.

Please understand this appointment policy is a way to ensure my clients can reserve the day and time that fits their schedule.

I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life.  When you book an appointment that time is truly reserved for you and you alone.

I ask that you respectfully give at least 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to keep your reserved appointment slot.  If done so, no charge will occur.

Cancellation:

Any client that does not provide at least 24hr notice will be charged for the appointment time they committed too.  The first time this happens you will be charged 50% of the cost of your session.  Subsequent late cancellations will be charged at the full cost of your session and future appointments will be declined until payment is received or other arrangements have been made. 

I will allow 1 missed (late cancellation/no show) appointment before I will require upfront online payment in full.  Refusal to provide card payment information will result in termination of our client/practitioner relationship and you will not be able to schedule more appointments with me.  I truly hope it never comes to this, as I dislike charging people for work not carried out.

My scheduling software sends out reminders via email 48 hours prior to your appointment.  I provide this service as a courtesy to help avoid last minute cancellations, so please check your calendars as soon as you receive your reminders and plan accordingly.

No Show/Missed Appointment:

Anyone who misses or doesn’t show up for a reserved appointment time for whatever reason will be considered a No Show and will be charged the full cost of the session and future appointments will be declined until payment is received or other arrangements have been made.

Rescheduling:

Clients are able to reschedule an appointment up to three (3) times online before you need to contact me by email, text/WhatsApp or phone to reschedule.  If you are not able to schedule and attend your appointment after rescheduling three (3) times, or within three (3) months of your original appointment date, your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit or payment will be refunded minus a 10% admin fee to cover the payment processor costs.  Future appointments will be declined unless other arrangements have been made. 

Late Arrivals:

Remember, appointment times are arranged specifically for you.  If you arrive late your session time will not change, so the hands-on time may be shortened in order to accommodate your reserved appointment time.  Depending upon how late you arrive into your appointment, I will determine if there is enough time remaining to start and provide you with the best treatment possible.

Regardless of the length of treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session, even if time does not allow for treatment.  I will do my very best to satisfy the scheduled time.  If there is nobody scheduled immediately after you, I will make every effort to extend the session to your full time.

Out of respect and consideration to me and my other clients, please plan appropriately and be on time.  If you are running late, a courtesy call, text or WhatsApp message (+353 89 257 8295) informing me would be wonderful.  This way I do not have to worry about you either.

Gift Voucher:

Gift Vouchers (GV) are non-refundable and may only be used for the specific named service/session length (no changes/division of time/etc.).  GV may not split between individuals for services/session length, time or cost and are non-transferable.  GVs expire in 90 days from purchase date.  GV must be presented in order to be honoured.  Lost or stolen GV will not be replaced.  Photo copies of GV will not be accepted.  When paying with a GV, if you cancel/No show the GV will be considered “used” and then null-and-void.

Payment:

When booking online, a 30 euro deposit or full payment in advance is required.  When booking by phone or email, I will send you a link to pay the 30 euro deposit (more than 24hr in advance) or full payment (less than 24hr in advance).  Your appointment is not confirmed until either a deposit or full payment is made and received.  

Full payment is required before you leave Breathing Space (before or after your session).  You can pay by card or cash.  Any deposit paid in advance will be deducted from payment at the time.

 

All clients, whether they have received treatment or booked an appointment are bound by this policy without any prejudice or exemption.  If unable to pay, your session may be immediately cancelled/not performed and future appointments will be denied until payment is received or other arrangements have been made.

I understand people sometimes wake up sick, and real emergencies come up.  Depending on the situation, I may reduce or waive the cancellation fee altogether.  I would like to add that I don’t get angry at or personally upset with any client that fails to give notice or just doesn’t show up: it just isn’t fair to other clients that need the therapeutic bodywork.
